1. Make sure everyone-adults and children- gets enough sleep. That means going to bed at a decent hour.
2.Prepare the night before…and get the kids involved in this if you can. Prepare for breakfast, pack the lunches, pick out clothes, and maybe have a specific room/shelf/cubby hole for all school needs. This way everyone isn’t running around like crazy trying to find shoes, backpacks, books, etc.
3. Adults should wake up before kids, so you can be extra prepared. This makes it much faster…and it’s a great example for the young ones to see that they have an adult they can look up to. Be a role model!
4. Make your family a morning chart and get the kids involved in the preparation and execution.
